A charge of a document determines how much of the total price should be requested in the final document.
The default value for this field is 100%, which means to request the full price.
This option Include additional costs decides whether to include additional costs when calculating the requested charge or not.
For instance, if you want to request 50% of the total price plus the shipping cost, which is added as additional cost, this option should not be activated.
The "Charge" table row will be displayed in the final document if requested charge is not equal to 100%.
