Setting Default Due Dates

Due dates can be displayed in PDF documents and will also be used to find out overdue invoices.

due date = sent date + due days

Setting the due days

Due days can be set individually for each document type. Additionally you will be asked for due days when you finalize a document.

  1. Open Preferences. Click the Preferences button in the toolbar.
    A new window sheet will open.
  2. Click Documents in the sheet toolbar.
  3. Select a document type from the left source table.
  4. Enter a due day into the text field at the bottom-right corner.

The next time when you finalize a document, the default due day will be set automatically in the Finalize sheet.

Due days are also called Term of payment.
