Exporting CSV

Following objects can be exported in CSV format.

  • Clients/Suppliers
  • Items
  • Documents (invoice, estimate, etc.)

To export clients/suppliers

  1. Select Contacts in the left source list.
  2. Choose File > Export from the main bar.
    A sheet window will open.
  3. Select the fields you want to export.
    By default, all fields are selected.
  4. Optional: Double click and change the header values.
    If you want to import this object to Totals later, we don't recommend to change the header values. The given values will be recognized by Totals automatically.
  5. Deactivate the checkbox Header if you don't want to export the headers as the first row (not recommended).
  6. Click Export.
  7. Choose a location and enter a file name.
  8. Click Save.

To export documents

  1. List the document you want to export by choosing a document types or smart folders from the left source list.
  2. Choose File > Export from the main bar.
    A sheet window will open. The next steps are the same as in the above instruction.

To export items

  1. List the items you want to export by choosing a catalog or smart catalog from the left source list..
  2. Choose File > Export from the main bar.
    A sheet window will open. The next steps are the same as in the above instruction.

TIP: You can always press cmd-e to bring up the export sheet.
