Configuring Email Templates

Each time when you want to email a document, Totals will prepare a new email and open the compose window of

To prepare an email template

  1. Open Preferences. Click the Preferences button in the toolbar.
    A new window sheet will open.
  2. Click Email in the sheet toolbar.
  3. Select a document type from the left table.
  4. Enter default text for Subject and Body.
    You can also drag the placeholders from the bottom of the window, which will be replaces by Totals when composing a new email.
  5. Click Done to close the preferences window.

Although you will see only two placeholders at the bottom of the window, this placeholders contains a context menu which you can display by clicking the white triangle right to the placeholder title and select another placeholder from the context menu.
